This site originated from an Msn Group based rp which a few of us decided to turn into a full scale proboard Roleplaying Game.
9th Wonders is a place where fans of the popular tv show HEROES can come along and take part in a large on going roleplaying game.
As everyone is aware Heroes is a show about ordinary everday people who find that they have gained extraordinary abilities
Volume 4: On The Run
For years those with abilities have kept a low profile, their existence has been a secret...until now.
Actions of specials have slowly been noticed and a certain someone is willing to turn their back on all that they have previously hidden to open up a whole new door to the government. Their awareness of these different individuals and their potential means that no one is safe.
The past is in the past. Good or bad none of it matters anymore. Everyone is in the same situation. It's time to hunt or be hunted, run or fight, flee or be caught because the government have no cares as to how specials use their abilities, the threat is that they have them.
Government control means anyone can suddenly become a someone: a terrorist, a murderer, a kidnapper...Public watch tv and read newspapers...and the danger is that they believe.
With such control there is little chance of escape or at least not for long.
Those with abilities now have to make a choice for the safety of their future. The choice they make is theirs alone and each one will come with a consequence.
What will you do?

"Maybe not but you gotta admit i look the part right?"
James laughed and shook his head. "You have a point there, Bonnie." He walked with her, listening to her disappointment over not catching that Elasticity chick. He smirked.
"Well I must say, you did a pretty good job trying. You'll get her next time," He playfully put his hands on her head and messed up her hair.
"Sooo where should we get that drink?" He asked. "You're lucky I managed to get a few bucks earlier." He said as he patted his guitar case which jingled a little from the bit of change in it.

"You're d**n right i'll get her" she grinned as she walked alongisde him.
Listening to him talk about making money she stopped, raising a brow at him she tilted her head "Seriously.." she looked a little baffled toward him, was this how he made money? "You do this for a living?" she asked motioning to the guitar case "Cause i mean yeah your all creative, talented and all that other crap..but surely you have a job? thats not this..?"

James shrugged. "I make most money with shows. I play on the streets for the extra money." He grinned as he walked with her. "I haven't really felt a need for anything else." He explained, lighting up when he talked about music. When James played, nothing else mattered. Sure, he had a pretty crappy apartment. And he was stuck living off of mac and cheese for months, as well as not shaving for a few weeks due to not having the time or money for a decent razor. But that is what a struggling musician does. They struggle.

"Well if thats what you like doing i cant knock it" she smiled looking at him "but if you ever need a job.." she pointed to herself with a grin "I could hook you up" she nodded at her own words and returned her hands to her sides.
"Just say the word, though you gotta prove yourself i mean you do bad and i get it in the ass for it, so..nothing is for free" she smirked.

James looked over at Gwen and smiled. He wouldn't mind having a job actually. "I guess I could use a bit a cash," He shrugged, not wanting to let her down. He was curious as to what kind of job she could give him.
"Prove myself....how exactly?" He asked, feeling intrigued and interested. He had to admit, his time catching that elasticity chick was an adrenaline rush. "We can talk about it over drinks," He said with a wink and a shrug.
